Is the home of British National Hunt Racing. Set in the natural amphitheatre of Cleave Hill, Cheltenham is host to the National Hunt's championship races every March and is often described as the greatest show on turf! For excitment, spectacle and competition this festival has few peers. For me there is no greater sight or better place to watch racing. The hairs on the back of my neck stand up when the roar of the first race goes up!
Cheltenham also stages the Paddy Power meeting in November where many of the festival participants will do battle on route to a crack at the big one in March!
Aintree:

Stamina is a must at Cheltenham, speed holds sway at Aintree where horses can come from behind on this flat track with a long straight.
Punchestown:

Horses that have bypassed Aintree often come here to try and plunder a big prize before resting up over the summer. The Irish come over to England, En mass, for the British Chamionship meetings and now this this fantastic meeting is becoming increasingly popular with the British and British trainers. As you would expect Guiness is kept, poured and served
to perfection in bars accross the course!
Newmarket:
Is the home of flat racing in Britain. Known as HQ, horses can be watched as they are put through their paces on the gallops

If You enjoy Horse Racing then festivals like those mentioned above will give you untold enjoyment. Highly competitive, with
large prizes up for grabs, winners at these meetings are difficult to pick. If you can find value then it may be worth a bet, but quite often it is easier to find value winners at less competitive meetings. A 5/1 winner is the same wherever you back it!
